providing training and discipleship for
Pastors & Leaders
Mathetai is a 501(c)3 non-profit teaching ministry dedicated to bringing training in Biblical doctrine and theology to pastors and leaders so that they, in turn, may be fully equipped to serve, lead and teach. While this training is readily available in many parts of the world, there are still many places without access to sound and practical training. We desire to find those individuals and bring them the tools necessary to fulfill their calling and bring the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth.

What We Do
A history of providing training for local pastors and churches
Mathetai began in 2010 with a burden to provide greater doctrinal and practical ministry training to pastors and leaders around the world. After several discussions with those serving in various parts of the world, it was determined that resources and training for those serving “in the field” are a common need. As this need was identified, God placed the burden upon our hearts to assist in providing both educational resources and opportunities to those who might not have the opportunity to receive such training.

Biblical Doctrine
Mathetai provides pastors and leaders with training in Bible Study methods and theological doctrines to ground faith in the Scriptures.

Practical Ministry
Mathetai seeks to assist pastors and leaders in developing the knowledge and skills required to serve their congregation and community.

Personal Discipleship
Mathetai walks alongside pastors and leaders offering support and encouragement in personal spiritual growth as well as their leadership and ministry role.
Our Team
Mathetai’s Board of Directors is a volunteer, functional board responsible for the overall stewardship of the resources of the ministry. Board positions include people with a track record of leadership in: pastoral ministry, missions, finance, legal, human resources, benevolence/compassion, and information technology. Who does Mathetai train?
We work with pastors and leaders across denominational backgrounds. We seek those that a) desire to be trained, b) are in agreement with the Mathetai Statement of faith, and c) are willing to engage in relational teaching and opportunities.
How much does it cost?
Currently, we do not charge for the opportunity to come alongside your ministry. We are excited to visit regions where pastors and leaders are willing to learn and grow together, building communities that are rich in the gospel and desiring to build the church.
